Some work from @PatBoBomb
For more than two years, I worked on "Dogs of Service," a feature length documentary about the training of service dogs and the people who need them. Working with Tiffany and Darrin Clouse, we traveled across the country, filmed in prison, and developed close relationships with handlers and their dogs. I'm very proud of what we created, and I'm a little wistful over the thought the project is behind us.
Since 2023, the main program I work on at Iowa PBS is Iowa Life. We tell stories on about anything cultural connected to Iowa. Personally, I love telling stories about non-profits and people helping people. This story on the hot rod expo "Vintage Torque Fest" that serves as a fundraiser for the charity "Helping Hannah's Heart" is one my personal favorites.
Tiny Explosions' family friendly, wildly fun romance-surreal-comedy short film.
Emmy award winning feature documentary from Iowa PBS
Winner of "Best Short Narrative Film" at Alternating Currents Film Festival 2024
For this film, 6 of us actually made custom puppets. We had no clue where the story would take them, but we were on a mission to make a puppet film.
A short sizzle reel of the performance shots from my Marcovis Guitars story.
Inexplicably, my POV ride of a carnival rollercoaster went viral. 7.5 Million views and counting.
The Mud Run at Camp Sacajawea is my new favorite annual event. Emmalyn and I tried it for the first time in 2024 and we fell in love. We'll be doing this every year until my kiddos are done with scouts.
